CapentryAustin.com
(July 2009)

Independently owned and operated, CarpentyAutin.com needed a way to stand out among their competitors. I designed a website using a commercial appeal that also allowed ease of access to the examples of past work.

As with all Stubby Studios websites, using web standards practices and clean code, search engines will now also have an easier time finding content on the site.

Amplified Heat
(July 2008)

Local Austin badass blues rockers, Amplified Heat needed a design that was as rock n’ roll as they were. They maintain the site themselves, so a content management system was needed as well.

I designed the site using Wordpress and showed them how to make the main site a sort of hub that all of their other sites like Flickr and MySpace could tie to as a central location for their fans to meet at.

Angelheart Children’s Shelter
(January 2007)

A beautiful shelter and organization for Central Texas abused or neglected children, Angelheart Children’s Shelter is an un-recognized hero of our community. They needed a website that would educate visitors and encourage donations, helping them to continue to provide a fun and nurturing atmosphere for the kids.

Union High School Class of 1987
(October 2006)

This is where it all started. I had built a dinky little family website, so my wife volunteered me to build the website for her 20 year high school reunion.

I did get a good April Fools joke out of it though. I posted a Poison (80’s band) logo at the top and “announced” they would be playing at the Union High School reunion. I don’t know how many friends she had called before I finally let her in on the joke, but she didn’t talk to me for the rest of the day.

I love you, Shannon.
